THIS UPDATE WAS POSTPONED, THE NEW INFORMATION IS IN THIS THREAD https://helpcenter.nshift.com/hc/en-us/articles/10810282865820-Rescheduled-Transsmart-Infrastructure-Update-PRODUCTION
Dear customer,
At nShift we are committed to delivering stable and secure solutions. In an effort to further increase the security and operational standards within our company, we are in the process of relocating the Transsmart platform in 2 phases.
The first phase was completed by Tuesday June 20th by moving the user acceptance environment to its new destination. Right now we are preparing the move of the production environment, currently planned to be completed in the morning of Sunday October 8th, between 2am and 10am.
There are 2 immediate consequences of this relocation:
-
The IP address of the systems will change
We know some customers have implemented IP whitelisting. They will need to change their security perimeters to allow communication to our platform at the new location. Luckily the new IP addresses can be applied in advance, so interruption of service can be avoided. The new IP addresses of the production environment are 13.248.222.228 and 76.223.87.97. -
Support for the outdated TLS versions 1.0 and 1.1 is dropped.
From this point on we will only support TLS versions 1.2 and 1.3. These versions were released in 2008 and 2018 respectively and are well-supported throughout the software industry.
Please make sure to forward this information to your Business IT department. They need to assess whether or not your integration with the Transsmart platform is impacted in some way. They can always try to evaluate the connection with our user acceptance environment (already at versions 1.2 and 1.3).
As always, should you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us through https://helpcenter.nshift.com.
