Dear customer,
At nShift we are committed to delivering stable and secure solutions. In an effort to further increase the security and operational standards within our company, we are in the process of relocating the Transsmart platform in 2 phases.
The first phase was completed by Tuesday June 20th by moving the user acceptance environment to its new destination. Right now we are preparing the move of the production environment, currently planned to be completed in the morning of Sunday October 29th, between 2am and 10am.
There are 2 immediate consequences of this relocation:
-
The IP address of the systems will change
We know some customers have implemented IP whitelisting. They will need to change their security perimeter to allow communication to our platform at the new location. Luckily the new IP addresses can be applied in advance, so interruption of service can be avoided.
The new IP addresses of the production environment are 13.248.222.228 and 76.223.87.97. -
Support for the outdated TLS versions 1.0 and 1.1 is dropped.
From this point on we will only support TLS versions 1.2 and 1.3. These versions were released in 2008 and 2018 respectively and are well-supported throughout the software industry.
Customers using Exact are advised to get in contact with their Exact partner, because they may need to take extra precautions regarding this topic before/after the maintenance window.
Please make sure to forward this information to your Business IT department. They need to assess whether or not your integration with the Transsmart platform is impacted in some way. They can always try to evaluate the connection with our user acceptance environment (already at versions 1.2 and 1.3).
As always, should you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us through https://helpcenter.nshift.com.

We are seeing customers facing connection issues yesterday and today. We have seen that the majority of these stem from their integration to Transsmart (possibly through an ERP partner) not being updated according to the changes mentioned in this thread. This comment is posted to reiterate the necessary changes to the subscribers. Please consult with your ERP partner about this if you are experiencing connection issues.
