Dear customer,
At nShift we are committed to delivering stable and secure solutions. In an effort to further increase the security and operational standards within our company, we will be relocating the Transsmart platform to a new environment in 2 phases. First, we will move the user acceptance environment in the morning of Tuesday June 20th. A few months later, in the weekend of October 7th and 8th, we will move the production environment.
There are 2 immediate consequences of this relocation:
- The IP address of the systems will change
We know some customers have implemented IP whitelisting. They will need to change their security perimeter to allow communication towards our platform. Luckily the new IP addresses can be applied in advance, so interruption of service can be avoided. The new IP addresses for the user acceptance environment are 52.223.58.16 and 35.71.186.39. The new IP addresses for production will be communicated in due time. - Support for the outdated TLS versions 1.0 and 1.1 is dropped
From this point on we will only support TLS versions 1.2 and 1.3. These versions were released in 2008 and 2018 respectively and are well-supported for https communications across the software industry.
Please make sure to forward this information to your IT security department. They need to assess whether or not your integration with the Transsmart platform is impacted in some way.
Once the user acceptance environment is relocated on June 20th, it can be used to verify whether you need to change anything. If so, you will have until October to change your integration to our production environment.
As always, should you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us through https://helpcenter.nshift.com.
