What is it? Klarna is a checkout system which allows for basically any shop system behind it. This makes it really great for a lot of possible integrations.
Shipping rate names. Klarna will overwrite your shipping rate names to streamline shipping method names across checkouts. Therefore, you will not be able to control shipping rate names in Webshipper. Below is an example of how it will look most commonly.
Attributes & order details. Because Klarna is a checkout system and not a shop system, it is limited what order details you will be able to sync with your orders. Currently, Webshipper cannot support other details than Description, SKU and shipping info.
Order transfer status. Once payment has been authorized in Klarna, orders will automatically be synced into webshipper. It is currently not possible to change the transfer status of orders.
Fallback Shipping Options. You will need to provide fallback shipping options when you create a Checkout session. Klarna uses those options if the Shipping API integration is not responding or otherwise fails. This way, Klarna can ensure that the customer always is able to complete their purchase.
Shipwreck (check credentials) You can test your credentials in the Klarna tool called ‘’Shipwreck’’. If you see shipping options in Shipwreck, then the Webshipper credentials are correct. If you do not see shipping options, please reach out to Webshipper.
