You can easily add a new account through MyTranssmart. Just click on your login name in the top right corner, and a dropdown will appear showing all your subaccounts. At the bottom of that menu, you'll find the option to Add a subaccount.
When clicking on Add a subaccount, a new pop-up will appear. Fill in the fields:
- Account Name - here you can enter a name for the new subaccount.
- Account Code - here you can enter an account code. The code should only include numbers and letters, start with a letter, be in capital letters, be between 5 and 10 characters long, and be unique. There is an automatic check for this, and you can see the rules by clicking the information icon.
- Subaccount Parent - you can choose the level where the subaccount will be added. If you don’t select anything, it will be added as a child (parent - child). If you select a child account, the new account will be added as a grandchild (parent - child - grandchild).
- Please check "I understand there will be additional charges for this new subaccount" to proceed. Without this, you won’t be able to add the subaccount. The subaccount will be added to your Transsmart subscription.
Once you click Save, the subaccount will be added and available in the subaccount menu. You can then begin setting up the MyTranssmart environment for this new subaccount.
To be able to book on this account, our support still needs to add configuration on the backend.
To reach our support team, please submit a request and provide the following information:
- Please specify whether the account is a child or grandchild account.
- Which carriers can the subaccount use?
- Can the subaccount book using the parent account's carrier number, or do they have their own carrier account numbers? If they have their own, please include those in your ticket.
- Is the subaccount allowed to book all service levels set up on the parent account, or just certain ones?
