You can add a new account yourself via MyTranssmart. When clicking on the login name on the top right, a dropdown will show up with all subaccounts. On the bottom of this popup it says 'Add a subaccount'.
When clicking on this a new pop-up will appear. Fill in the fields:
-
Accountname - here you can give a name to the new subaccount.
-
Accountcode - here you can give an accountcode. The accountcode can only contain numbers and letters, needs to start with a letter, needs to be in capital letters, min 5 to max 10 characters, needs to be unique. There is an automatic check on this and the 'rules' are visible via the information icon.
-
Subaccount parent - you can choose on what level the subaccount needs to be added. When you don't select anything here it will be added as a child (parent - child). When you select a child account, the new account will be added as grandchild (parent - child - grandchild).
-
I understand there will be additional charges for this new subaccount - this needs to be checked otherwise you can't add the subaccount. The subaccount will be added to your Transsmart subscription.
As soon as you click 'Save' the subaccount is added and can be found via the subaccount menu. You can now start configuring the MyTranssmart environment for this new subaccount.
To be able to book on this account our support still needs to add configuration on the backend.
Contact our support by creating a ticket on this helpcenter and give them below information:
- Please indicate whether it is a child or grandchild account.
- What carriers can the subaccount use?
- Are they allowed to book on the carrier account number of the parent or do they have their own carrier account numbers? If they have their own account numbers please send these in your ticket.
- Are they allowed to book all service levels configured on the parent account or only specific service levels?
