This article will explain how to transmit data to your carriers from Ship On-premises manually. It is important to transmit your EDI files. If a carrier has not received the EDI files before they handle the goods, they may need to handle it manually and some will charge a fee for this. 

• Transmitting all shipments in Outbox or a stack
• Transmitting selected shipments
• Retransmitting an EDI file
• Setting up auto transmit

Transmitting all shipments in Outbox or a stack

1. In Ship On-premises, go to Main > Outbox.
   
    
2. Check the stack(s) containing the shipments you want to transmit. You can select all stacks by adding a check next to Installation at the top level. The number in brackets next to a stack shows how many shipments are waiting to be transmitted. 
   
   
    
3. Click the Transmit Checked button.
    
4. Click Yes in the alert box.
   
   
    
5. The transmit window is displayed briefly while the shipments are transmitted.
    
6. Upon successful transmit, all shipments disappear from Outbox (or the ones checked).
    
7. In case of an error, try to restart the Consignor service. Please contact nShift Customer Service if you experience repeated errors.

Transmitting selected shipments

1. Click on the relevant stack to open the list of shipments.
    
2. Select one or more shipments. Right-click and select Transmit Selected Shipments.
   
   
    
3. Click Yes in the alert box.
   
   
    
4. The transmit window is displayed briefly while the shipments are transmitted.
    
5. Upon successful transmit, the selected shipments disappear from Outbox.

Retransmitting an EDI file

1. Go to Transmitted Batch.
    
2. Find the appropriate batch and double-click it.
   
   
    
3. Right-click on the EDI file and select Retransmit EDI File... The EDI file is placed under the Files tab and will marked as an EDI file.
   
   
    
4. Click Yes in the alert box.
   
   
    
5. The file is now retransmitted successfully.
   
   

Setting up auto transmit
