FedEx Web Services are currently in development containment and will be deprecated at the beginning of April 2026. This means that all customers in nShift Ship using the Web Service connection FedEx (139) must migrate to the new FedEx REST API (977).
The good news is that nShift is fully compatible and certified for this REST API connection.
Note: This migration applies initially to customers based in Europe. We will provide additional information soon regarding the US and Canada migration flows.
Steps to complete the migration
-
Request Production Credentials
Use your existing FedEx account number to request production credentials via the following form:
https://editor.nshiftcarrier.com/fedex/registration-form
-
Create a support ticket
Contact nShift Customer Service to have the new connection configured in your installation.
Include your FedEx account number in the ticket submission: Submit a ticket to nShift Customer Service
Our consultants will retrieve the necessary child credentials based on your FedEx account number.
-
Testing and go-live
The recommended best practice is to begin sending shipments directly in production.
If you prefer to send test shipments to the FedEx staging environment, please coordinate with your consultant, who will guide you through the setup and testing process.
