Today 8-Nov-2024 we deployed below changes and fixes to our Beta and Accept environment.
The release to Production is scheduled Monday 11-Nov-2024.
Various changes and fixes
- In the shipment details page it's now possible to click the button 'Run carrier selection' without the need to first fill in all mandatory fields. Before, you first needed to fill in all mandatory fields in the shipment before the button was enabled. Now, the only fields that are needed to show rates, are the sender/receiver post code and country code and a package line with measurements.
- In the shipment details page, we have improved the validation mechanism for drop down fields. Before, when sending in an invalid value via the Webservice or API, MyTranssmart was not showing the invalid value because it didn't exist in the allowed values that were shown in the drop down. This is changed now, so the invalid value will be shown in the error line.
- In menu Admin Panel > Client Carriers, the function ‘Delete all’ didn't work anymore. This is solved now.
- Before, in the shipment details page and SmartScan landing page, the button SmartScan was directly enabled but when clicking it while no value was filled in, it generated an error. This is solved now; the button is disabled until you have filled in a value.

General note: because it’s possible that users are working in the MyTranssmart dashboard at the moment of the deployment, it is recommended that users log off the dashboard, press Ctrl + F5 (to reload the current browser page including the browser cache) and log in again.
Unfortunately, yesterday 11-Nov-2024 in the afternoon we needed to rollback the release due to an issue with adding or editing a package line in the shipment details pages of MyTranssmart. We have found the cause and are working on a fix. We will inform you as soon as we have deployed the release to our Production environment again.
We have just deployed the release including the fix to our Production environment.
