GLS PL API – nShift

Quick and easy guide to set up GLS PL API as a carrier.

To create GLS PL API as a carrier, you will need the following:

You get these from GLS, most likely in your e-mail inbox. However, you can always find them on your GLS Profile, or by contacting them.

To create the carrier, you will have to do the following:

Navigate to Webshipper and then Connect > Carriers > GLS PL API.

Input your Username/Password under ShipmentBooking:

Documentformat should be set to 'with_barcodes'

Labelformat should be set to 'roll_160x100_vertical_pdf'

Printmode should have 'PDF' noted

Congratulations! You have now created GLS PL API as a carrier, and you are now ready to use their services!

Shipping rates

Once you have connected to your carrier, you can start building your desired shipping rates with each of the services available on the carrier.

Navigate to Connect > Order channels > Select your channel > Add Shipping rate.
