Visma Financials is switching to a new and more secure authentication method. This affects nShift customers using the VismaNetFinancials ERP integration in nShift Ship On-premises. To make sure your integration will not stop working, you must update your authentication by following the guide below:
Prerequisites
Before switching to the new authentication method, please ensure that your Company in Visma has App Store activated and your Visma user has the Integration Administrator role for App Store.

If you are unsure how to set the appropriate rights, please see this video by Visma with instructions.
Use the invitation code
Follow these steps after receiving an email from nShift with an invitation code. Please note that the invitation code expires after 5 days.
- Log into Visma and navigate to Visma App Store.
- Go to the My apps tab and click on Use Invitation code.
- Enter the Invitation code you received in the email from nShift and click Find. (If you get an error saying "Application is not available" it means that the code has already been used or has expired. In this case, please reach out to nShift Customer Service).
- You will now be directed to the Application permissions page. Switch on permissions for the Visma.net ERP Service API and Visma.net ERP SalesOrder API and click Integrate.
- Click Accept.
- Sign out of Visma and sign back in for the changes to take effect.
Important! If your Invitation code has expired, please reach out to nShift Customer Service to receive a new code.
Add Tenant ID in nShift On-premises
- After signing out and back in, go to the Visma App Store > My apps, click on your username in the top right corner, and copy the Tenant ID.
- Open nShift On-premises and go to Setup.
- Navigate to the level in your installation where the ERP integration is running.
- Open the ERP Integration setup item. Enter the Tenant ID in the User Name box. The Password field must be empty so remove any old password.
- Click Connect and OK. Your Visma integration now uses the new authentication method.
