These use cases demonstrate various configurations for Custom Price Calculation and how these have been configured using an Excel template. The use cases have been created based on the most common pricing scenarios that nShift customers encounter with their carriers.
Use Case 1:
Pallets and diesel fee Company X is based in Denmark. They ship pallets to Norway and the carrier's prices are calculated based on pallet type and postcode in Norway. In addition to the base prices they also pay a diesel fee. |

Weight per package and Express service fee Company Y is a Danish company sending packages to Poland. Their prices are based on different postcodes zones in Poland and they are calculated |

Use Case 3:
Weight per shipment and volume weight factor Company Z is a German company sending many heavy and large-sized shipments. Their prices are calculated per shipment and according to weight. The carrier charges a loading meter equivalent to 1500 kg and a cubic meter equivalent to 250 kg. There are also minimum and maximum prices in place. |

Use Case 4:
Loading meter, import and discount Company Q is located in Sweden. They are exporting and importing goods from England. Their prices are calculated per shipment or loading meter according to receiver postcodes in England. The carrier also provides a 10% discount for the postcodes in Zone 1. |

Distance and weight Company A is a Finnish catering company based in Helsinki. They deliver food to companies up to 20 km away and have distance and weight-based pricing for their deliveries. |
