If you wish to activate Freight Letters in nShift Ship On-premises, follow these steps:

1. Go to Setup.
    
2. Navigate through the installation to select the proper level to activate freight letters. This could be on a specific carrier.
    
3. Select the level where you wish to activate the freight letter, right-click in the right-hand side pane, and choose New > Document options. 
   
   
    
4. Freight Document Options will then open. If the document is not listed, click Add custom documents, and go to the tab Shared documents. A list with several freight documents will appear to choose from. Double-click to activate one.
   
   
    
5. When a document is listed as Active - Never, click on the field and the "^..." button, and change it from Never to Always.
