If you book shipments with pickup and delivery dates that always follow the same pattern, you can configure the fields to fill in today's date automatically. This is useful if your carrier requires all shipments to be filled in with the current date.

1. Log in to nShift Portal and go to Ship > New and click the Field selector button.
   
   
   
   
2. Click Default values and select the dates you want to be filled in by default. In the example below, the Delivery date start is set to "today + 2 days", and the Pickup date and time start is set to "today at 11:00".  
   
   
   
   
3. Click Save. You will now be asked to select at what level the changes should apply. Click Save to confirm.
   
   
4. The configured dates will now be filled in by default the next time you make a shipment. Please note that not all date fields are supported by all carriers.
