Yesterday 28-Sep-2023 we deployed below changes and fixes to our Beta environment.
The release to Accept is scheduled Monday 2-Oct-2023.
The release to Production is scheduled Tuesday 3-Oct-2023.
Email sent information in shipment status timeline
When making use of the email functionality of MyTranssmart, you will now be able to see information about sent emails in the shipment status timeline in the shipment details page.
When a mail has been sent, it will show the email icon in the corresponding status section.
If you hoover over it, it will show some information about the date/time sent and which settings are applicable.
If you click the icon, it will show the html email that was sent.
Webservice and API change – New address types
We have added 3 new address types to the Webservice, API and in MyTranssmart.
The reason is that the customs shipments for some specific carriers need to contain more information if applicable for the specific customer flow.
- Broker (BRKR) The broker is the party which fulfils the customs activities. Depending on the carrier connection, this address information might be sent to the carrier.
- Exporter (EXPO) The exporter is the party which exports the customs goods. Depending on the carrier connection, this address information might be sent to the carrier.
- Importer (IMPO) The importer is the party which imports the customs goods. Depending on the carrier connection, this address information might be sent to the carrier.
It is possible to send in one or more of these types by using the values IMPO, EXPO, BRKR.
In MyTranssmart when opening the shipment details page, it will show the address if it is filled in the shipment. If not, it will not show the address by default. If you always want to have one or more of these new types visible, you can enable them per user in [Manage account, User Management].
Note: by default these 3 new sections are turned off for existing and new users.
Original planned delivery date
In the API Status response and in the shipment details page we have added the fields Original planned delivery date from and Original planned delivery date to. Until now, in the shipment details page, we were only showing the Planned delivery date which was the Planned delivery date from. We have now also added the Planned delivery date to.
We have also moved the field Account code to the top so the sorting order makes more sense.
This is the first step in giving more insights in the delivery date flow. We are identifying how we want to make this visible in the shipment overview page.
Various changes and fixes
- Before, when an invalid EORI number was sent in via the Webservice in the Invoice address, MyTranssmart wouldn't show the invoice section. This is solved now. Note: this did not occur via the API or when manually creating a new shipment in MyTranssmart, because it has a validation on the EORI number so you are not able to enter an invalid value.

Because it’s possible that users are working in the MyTranssmart dashboard at the moment of the deployment and therefor will not directly see the new changes. If this is the case, it is recommended that users log off the dashboard, press Ctrl + F5 to reload the current browser page including the browser cache and log in again.
