If you scan large amounts of parcels every day, you may be using a device with an integrated scanner to help ease the work. This article will explain how to use the CipherLab RS30 device with Scan App Pro. 

Configuring CipherLab RS30 to work with Scan App

1. Tap the Reader config icon.
   
   
   
   
2. Go to Data Output.
   
   
   
   
3. Activate Keyboard Emulation and make sure Auto Enter is set to Decoded data + Enter char and Auto Enter Character is set to Carriage return. 
   
   
   
   
4. The device is now ready to use with Scan App.

Scanning with Scan App

1. Open Scan App from the main screen and start scanning using the integrated scanner.
   
   
2. The scanned barcodes will automatically be added to the barcode field. The barcode count will increase accordingly. No interaction with the app is needed until you have finished scanning and are ready to assign an event. Tap Next and follow the flow on the screen.
