Three paperless trade options are covered in TMS for MyDHL. This guide will show you how to apply each option:
- Paperless trade with customs data
- Customs data for destination countries that don’t accept paperless trade
- Paperless trade with attachment
Paperless trade is only available on Economy Select (Dutiable), Express 10:30 (Dutiable), Express 12:00 (Dutiable), Express 9:00 (Dutiable) and Express Worldwide (Dutiable).
Paperless trade with customs data
- In order to trigger the Paperless trade code (WY) to MyDHL, select both Paperless Trade and Customs Invoice additional services.
- Fill in the general invoice information in the Customs Invoice service.
- Add Amount and Currency in the Goods Value additional service.
- Fill in article information in the Customs Data block.

Customs data for destination countries that don’t accept paperless trade
- Select the Customs Invoice additional service and fill in the information.
- Add Amount and Currency in the Goods Value additional service.
- Fill in article information in the Customs Data block.

Paperless trade with attachment
- Select the Paperless Trade additional service.
- Attach the commercial invoice in the Attachments block.
- Proceed as usual with the shipment and click Book.
- It is also necessary to add the article information in the Customs Data block and send it together with the attachment.
