Why is there a price update?
2022 has been a challenging year for all of us and we want to ensure we keep delivering the best possible service to you as our customer. To do this, we must keep attracting and retaining the best talent and continue to invest in building a market-leading and performant infrastructure for our products. Webshipper is growing rapidly, and in combination with the current high-inflation macroeconomic conditions, we need to adjust our prices to support those important objectives. We don’t take this easy, the last time we made a price adjustment was during 2020, and lots has happened since, that is the reason behind us now updating our prices to better match the current conditions for us as a company and the current conditions in the market
Are you just increasing the price, or are other things also happening?
Yes, we are also adding our Return Portal to Essential plans. In addition to that, in 2021 we joined forces with nShift, to create the strongest shipping products on the market. This means that we now have access to a lot more carriers and services, to make sure that you have the right tools.
Besides expanding our carrier pool with nShift and launching our redesign, we will continue to enhance the product. Some examples of recent improvements have been:
- Shopify synchronization - creating a better and more direct connection between Shopify and Webshipper.
- Expanded bulk actions and added many new filter options in the overviews.
- New comment system - for orders, that can provide additional details and timestamps.
- Company and billing page - opened for account admins to manage contacts, data storing and data processing agreements.
- Expanded Activities - in preparation for an upcoming mobile app update.
- Favorite Shipping Rates – allowing you to select your favorite shipping rates for future use.
- Displaying distances in checkout - for Shopify customers.
In the upcoming year, we aim to have many exciting updates for you as well. Including a brand-new Return Portal with a lot of new functionality and design, making your daily work with returns easier and more automated.
Potentially a brand new Webshipper App, making your orders available on the fly – and possibilities to Scan & Ship, Pick & Pack, and much more.
So yes, we are doing lots of other things to make the service more valuable for you as our customers.
How often can we expect price updates?
It was around 2 years since the last price update, but it’s hard to promise it will take additional 2 years before we update our price plans again. But as a general rule, we analyze our price plans on an annual basis to see if we need to adjust any variables, and that is something you can expect as a customer and something we would want to be transparent on. But that doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll increase prices every year, it could be that we based on your feedback and more functions, add new plans or anything similar connected to our price plans.
What will the update look like?
This time we will update all subscriptions with new pricing and move an existing feature to our Essential plan, our highly appreciated Return Portal. Read more here about the Return Portal.
Price updates
Essential
Updated recurring pricing will be 129€/month, and the new exceeding shipment price will be 0,27€/shipment over 750 shipments.
Pro
New recurring pricing will be 296€/month, and the new exceeding shipment price will be 0,14€/shipment over 3 000 shipments.
Advanced
New recurring pricing will be 659€/month, and the new exceeding shipment price will be 0,10€/shipment over 10 000 shipments.
Enterprise
Your subscriptions will be updated with a +10% increase on your current subscription agreement with us.
Checkout
Your subscriptions will be updated with a +10% increase on your current subscription agreement with us.
I have a special agreement for my plan not mentioned above?
Your subscriptions have been updated with a +10% increase on your current subscription agreement with us.
Note: that the actual subscription price on the invoice might differ a bit from examples due to currency changes until the change goes into effect by the 1st of February 2023.
Functional updates
We are adding the highly appreciated Return Portal to our Essential plans starting the 1st of February. This is something that has been requested heavily by many of you, and we’d like more customers to be able to enjoy this great feature onwards. Read more here about the Return Portal.
When is the update happening?
The updated price will be effective from the 1st of February 2023.
When will it take effect on my invoice?
It depends on what invoice cycle you are on, but the next invoice you get after the 1st of February will include the updated pricing.
Where can I see my invoice?
If you wish to download and see your invoice, go to your Webshipper account. Click on the user icon in the bottom left corner and access your billing details. From here you will be able to see all your invoice details in the top tab for invoices. Click here for help.
How do I update my company billing details?
If you access your company settings in the bottom left corner, you will be able to see all your company details and change your billing info as well. Click here for help.

I haven’t received the notification email regarding this price update
We have tried our absolute best to be as transparent and open about this update as we can. And we are sorry if you missed the notification. With 30 days' notice, based on our Terms and Conditions, communication has been sent out via email to your account administrator email, we published a notification in our announcement center and also added notifications to the subscription and invoice sections within the service.
