nShift TMS creates 2 types of documents:

Transportation labels (STE or similar or by design from Carrier). For Couriers, we usually retrieve the actual document from the Carriers' own web service API.

Other documents in A4 size, Waybill/CMR/Fraktsedel depending on service and carrier's specification. As other documents like Receipt list, Picklist, Proforma, Commercial Invoice etc.

Formats:

Labels are provided as PDF or ZPL, Zebra Programming Language coded documents.

Other documents are only provided as PDF.

Document generation:

TMS GUI

TMS Integration methods: Webservice, Apport Connect and ApportPrinter applications.

Document sizes:

Labels, width: 105 mm, Length depending on carrier's service, 153-253 mm of length. 203 DPI resolution.

Other: A4, 300 Dpi

Printers to be used:

PDF Labels, through any windows printer driver suited for the printer make and model. The physical paper needs to be specified in driver settings.

ZPL Labels, through ZPL - generic/text only driver, 203 DPI printers must be used.

Other, through any windows printer driver, suited for the printer make and model.

Recommended Label printers (for best performance, use network connected):

Zebra GK420D (ZPL only 203 DPI models), low volume & budget

Zebra ZT2xx, ZT4xx or ZT6xx printer family (ZPL only 203 DPI models). For high volumes and throughput.
