You can block and delete agents connected to your Action Center. This article will explain how to block and delete agents and the difference between the two features.

Blocking an agent
You can block an agent to stop them from using a specific Action Center. This could be relevant if the Agent no longer needs access to certain Action Centers due to changes in your workflow. A blocked agent cannot send events.
To block an agent, follow these steps:
- Log in to nShift Portal and go to Action Center > Agents.
- If you have multiple Action Centers, make sure to choose the correct one using the drop-down list in the top right-hand corner.
- Click on the Agent you want to block and click the red Block Agent button at the bottom of the Agent pop-up window.
Deleting an agent
If a person no longer works for you or no longer needs access to an Action Center, you can delete their agent profile. A deleted agent no longer appears on your list of agents and can no longer connect to the Action Center they were deleted from. Deleted agents cannot be restored so be careful when you delete someone. You can reuse an Agent Key from a deleted agent once, after which it will be locked.
Delete Agent in an Action Center:
- Log in to nShift Portal and go to Action Center > Agents.
- If you have multiple Action Centers, make sure to choose the correct one using the drop-down list in the top right-hand corner.
- Click on the Agent you want to delete and click the red Delete Agent button at the bottom of the Agent pop-up window.
Please note that a deleted agent still has access to their history and data in Scan App Pro so the correct way to delete an agent and remove all personal data is to ask them also to delete their account from Scan App Pro.
Delete Agent in Scan App Pro:
- In Scan App Pro, go to Settings > Preferences > Delete account.
- Confirm that all personal data will be removed by tapping the Delete button.
