If you receive the following message in your nShift On-premises client, we recommend that you update your nShift On-premises as soon as possible:

You are running an outdated version of nShift On-Premises with some known vulnerabilities. To reduce the risk of service disruption, please upgrade as soon as possible to latest version to fix this.

The message is displayed to customers running older versions who must update to get the latest security updates. We release new stability, performance, and security updates bi-weekly so if you receive the update notification, you should update to ensure that you will continue to have a stable connection between client, server, and Portal. To make it possible for you to plan the update, we do not force the update but allow you to plan it according to your work schedule.
