This change is relevant for all customers who use their own location select call to request the parcelshop ID for a DPD parcelshop delivery.
DPD uses 2 different types of parcelshop ID:
- parcelshopID (numeric format)
- pudoID (2 digit country code followed by a zip code)
Please see below example response of DPD Parcelshop finder webservice (endpoint https://wsshipper.dpd.be/soap/WSDL/ParcelShopFinderServiceV50.wsdl) when requesting a parcelshop ID:
“findParcelShopsResponse: {“parcelshop”: [ {
“parcelShopId”: 272195,
“pudoId”: “DE16935”,
… } ] }
For the DPD Parcelshop delivery service it is mandatory to transmit a parcelshop ID in the booking message towards our platform. DPD will require the value of pudoId instead of parcelShopId starting from 4/4/2022.
We are making the necessary changes to the booking to DPD so that the new value is transmitted as requested. This means that from April 4th onwards the correct parcelshop ID needs to be provided in the booking to our platform.
The pudoId needs to be provided in the additional reference field with TYPE = SERVICEPOINT when serviceLevelTime = PARCELSHOP and carriercode = DPD

Contrary to our earlier message above, we will be deploying the changes on the DPD connection on the 12th of April 2022. Please start sending in the requested data from that date onwards.
