Shipments are only saved and not booked unless you have the option to make the booking directly from the Create Consignment page. The option to make a booking immediately depends on the template you are using. Follow this guide to book your saved shipments. If you have saved shipments you still need to make the final booking to send data to the carriers.
- In nShift TMS, go to Your consignments > Book transport in the top menu. On this page, you will find the shipments that are saved but not booked yet.
- Select the shipments you want to book. You can use the filters to search for the relevant shipments.
- Fill in the PICK UP INSTRUCTIONS section. Pick up instructions are mandatory when booking from this page if the pickup date given here is invalid. This could be the case if the date and time has exceeded the deadline from the carrier. Any pickup instructions filled in on this page will overwrite pickup instructions on the individual shipments.
- Click Book selected or Book and print. If you choose to print the freight documents these will be opened automatically in Adobe Reader.
