Mobile technology is evolving very fast and we, therefore, encourage everyone who is running a version of Scan App older than 5.6.0 (from before November 2020) to update as soon as possible. This will ensure that you get the latest security improvements and are prepared for the migration to Scan App Pro later this year.
Easy and seamless migration for existing Scan App users
The latest version of Scan App ensures an easy and seamless migration of your Scan App data when you migrate to Scan App Pro.
Scan App Pro is our new app with an improved, configurable user interface and additional functionality. Both apps work in parallel for now but all Scan App users will eventually be migrated to the new app where our app development resources will be focused in the future.
From May 10, 2021, support of Scan App versions older than 5.6.0 will be discontinued.
Why not jump straight to Scan App Pro?
We strongly recommend existing Scan App users upgrade their old Scan App first. Having the latest version of the old app will ensure a smooth migration of your data to Scan App Pro so you will be able to keep all your current agent settings. If going from an older version of Scan App (lower than 5.6.0) to Scan App Pro, you must reconfigure all agent settings.
Are you a new customer?
New customers who have never used Scan App should install Scan App Pro. It is only necessary to update the old Scan App if you already have Scan App data and settings that you wish to keep.
