Portal uses the metric system as default, but it is possible to change it to use the imperial system of measurement. 

1. Log in to nShift Portal and click on your user name in the top right corner.
   
   
2. Click on My Account in the top right corner and choose Edit profile.
   
   
   
   
3. Select imperial in the Unit system field. You may also set your preferred units for Length, Weight and Volume.
   
   
   
   
4. Click the Save button to save your changes. You must log out and log in again for your changes to take effect.
   
   

Note: It is only possible to change nShift Portal to use the imperial system. Ticket, where you can book new shipments, only supports the metric system for now.
