An improved version of DeliveryCloud, our enriched shipment and event model, is now in production. Everything new is optional, so existing integrations keep working without changes.
What’s new
- Delivery dates: Requested, required, promised and estimated delivery dates now have their own clearly named fields.
- Proof of delivery: Events can carry signature links, POD documents, photos and carrier references.
- Customs: Several invoices per shipment, new article-level customs fields, region of origin for some German and Belgian exports, and full 10-digit HS codes.
- Dangerous goods: A complete declaration based on DGXML 2.1, with code lists in the Metadata API.
- More shipment data: Dedicated fields for barcodes, tracking link, language, segment and goods description.
- Prices and emissions: Shipments can carry prices per source, and emission results from Emissions Tracker v3 are more detailed. Automatic pricing with nShift rate cards is included but switched off for now.
Fixes
- Shipments missing from the BI export
- “False” values being lost
- Anonymisation runs skipping shipments at the very end of a period
Good to know
- Validation is stricter: some payloads that were previously accepted are now rejected with a clear error message.
- You may see new event types (mobile, Portal status and Portal edit events) that weren’t visible before.
