Checkout-powered returns shipping experience
Shipping accounts are a new way to set up return shipping in nShift Returns. A shipping account connects nShift Returns to an nShift Checkout configuration and to your shipping platform: nShift Delivery, nShift Ship, or nShift Transsmart. nShift Checkout decides which delivery options customers see when they make a return, and your shipping platform books the return shipment and creates the label.
You can create one or more shipping accounts and assign each one to one or more markets. With delivery option rules in nShift Checkout, you control which return delivery options are shown and what they cost. For example, you can offer free returns for claims.
Return validation with postal code
Customers can now validate their return with their postal code instead of their email address. Use the new Customer login detail setting in the self-service portal to choose the validation method for each market.
Other improvements
- For Shopify stores: return rules and fee rules can now use Shopify order tags as conditions.
- The UPS declaration statement now includes the outbound tracking number.
