A Connection can now be scheduled for a temporary change to what Configuration/Group it points to. This is useful for time-bound changes such as campaigns, promotions, or night-time adjustments, without needing a manual update at the exact start and stop time.
How it works
You schedule a start and stop date/time, and pick the Configuration/Group the Connection should point to during that window.
At the start time, the Connection automatically switches to the scheduled Configuration/Group.
At the stop time, the Connection automatically switches back to what it pointed to before.
Only one scheduled override can be active per Connection at a time.
Rules and limits
Maximum duration of a scheduled override: 14 days.
A scheduled override can be set up at most 14 days in advance.
You must define a stop date/time within that 14-day window.
If a change needs to last longer than 14 days, schedule the time-critical initial change as normal, then update the Connection manually for the change to become permanent.
Scheduling a temporary override
Go to the Connections page and find the Connection you want to change.
Expand the Connection and scroll down to “Schedule a temporary override”
Choose the Configuration/Group the Connection should point to during that window.
Set the start and stop date and time for the override
Save the Connection to apply the scheduled override.
