The Statistics Report in nShift Track lets you analyze shipment and package volumes over time, broken down by carrier and product.
This article explains how to use the main features, including filters, charts, data tables, and export.
In this article
Accessing the report
- Log in to nShift Portal
- Open the Track product and the Reports tab
- Select the Statistics sub-tab
Note:
If you don't see the Reports tab, it may be because:
- The report is not enabled for your account, or
- You do not have a Track license
Enable access via user management or contact nShift support for help.
Filters
The filter bar lets you narrow the data by:
- Organisation — the top-level organisation in your hierarchy
- Organisation unit — a unit within the selected organisation
- Member account — a specific member account within the selected unit
- Carrier — one or more carriers (only carriers with data for your selection are shown)
- Start date – End date — the date range to report on
The default date range is one year back from today.
Filters cascade: selecting an organisation narrows the options in organisation unit, and so on down the hierarchy. Nothing selected in a filter means all are included — the same behaviour as the Shipment Report.
Use Refresh to update the results after changing filters. Use Clear filters to reset to defaults.
Active filter chips
Applied filters appear as chips above the chart. Each chip represents one active filter. Click × on a chip to remove that filter.
Charts
The chart section has three tabs:
Shipments vs packages
Shows shipment count and package count on the same chart over the selected date range. Useful for understanding volume trends and the relationship between shipments and packages.
Shipments CY vs LY
Compares shipment count in the current year against the same period last year.
Packages CY vs LY
Compares package count in the current year against the same period last year.
Hover over the chart to see exact values for a given month. Click items in the legend to show or hide individual series.
Data tables
Below the chart, a tabbed grid shows aggregated statistics by carrier and product across the selected date range. Each tab shows a different metric:
| Tab | What it shows |
| Shipment count | Number of shipments per carrier–product, per month |
| Package count | Number of packages per carrier–product, per month |
| Shipment count (including deleted) | Shipment count including shipments that were later deleted |
| Package count (including deleted) | Package count including packages from deleted shipments |
| Shipment share | Each carrier–product's share of total shipments, as a percentage |
| Average number of packages in shipment | Mean packages per shipment, per carrier–product, per month |
| Average shipment weight – Inhouse | Mean shipment weight as recorded in nShift, per month |
| Average shipment weight – Carrier | Mean shipment weight as reported by the carrier, per month |
Rows are grouped by carrier and product. Columns represent months within your selected date range.
