nShift Companion is an AI-powered assistant designed to help you get more out of nShift Track. You can ask it questions about how Track works, get guidance on configuration, or look up specific shipments — without leaving the application.
Where to find Companion
Companion is available directly in the Track dashboard.
- Open nShift Track.
- Click the Companion button in the top navigation bar.
- A panel will open on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Accept the terms and conditions to start using Companion.
What you can do with Companion
Ask about Track
Companion can answer questions about nShift Track — how features work, where to find settings, and how to configure the product to fit your needs. For example:
- How do I set up notifications on Delivered events?
- Where can I find my shipment reports?
- Can I add Track Public Pages as a widget on my own website?
- What is Scan App?
Look up a specific shipment
You can ask Companion about a specific shipment in plain language. For example:
- "Where is shipment CU040518345AT?"
- "What's the status of order 6200723888?"
Companion can look up shipments by:
- Tracking or shipment number — including parcel numbers and package barcodes
- Order number — the merchant's order reference number
Results include carrier, sender and receiver addresses, and tracking events.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Searches cover the last 31 days only.
- A maximum of 20 results are returned per query.
- Companion cannot search by recipient name, address, date range, or carrier — for those, use the full search in the Track interface.
Interacting with Companion's responses
For each response from Companion, you can:
- Copy the response
- Give thumbs up or thumbs down feedback
- Regenerate the response
Your feedback helps us continuously improve Companion.
If Companion does not answer your question as expected, try rephrasing your request or using the regenerate option.
