Where to find Companion
Companion is available on the Configurations page when you are creating a new configuration or editing an existing one.
- Open a configuration or create a new one.
- Click the Companion button in the top right corner.
- A panel will open on the right-hand side of the screen.

Accept the terms and conditions to start using Companion.
What you can do with Companion
Companion can answer Checkout-related questions and help you understand and improve your configuration.
Predefined actions
You can quickly choose one of the available actions:

Summarize configuration
Get a quick overview of the key details in your current configuration.

Explain changes
Understand the impact of changes made to the configuration.

Suggest improvements
Receive suggestions and recommended next steps to optimize your setup.
Ask your own question
You can also use the free text field to ask specific Checkout-related questions. For example:
- Clarifications about rules or expressions
- How certain settings affect the checkout
- Guidance on best practices
Interacting with Companion’s responses
For each response from Companion, you can:
- Copy the response
- Give thumbs up or thumbs down feedback
- Regenerate the response
- Open the Message Feedback form
When providing feedback, you can:
- Select a feedback type (Bug, Performance, Quality, Usability, or Other)
- Give a rating (Great, Good, Bad, or Terrible)
- Add additional written feedback before submitting
Your feedback helps us continuously improve Companion.
If Companion does not answer your question as expected, try rephrasing your request or using the regenerate option.
