Audit logs provide a detailed record of changes and actions taken within your nShift environment. They are essential for tracking user activity, ensuring compliance, and troubleshooting issues. With audit logs, you gain transparency into who did what, when, and where.
How to access Audit Logs
- Log in to nShift Portal and go to Settings.

Expand Company Management and go to Audit Logs.
- You can refine your search using the following filters:
- Date From + Date To – Narrow results to a specific time period
- Application - choose between Identity Provider and User Management
- Author – Identify actions by a specific user
- Entity Type – Filter by the user type (Company, User, Visitor)
- Entity ID – Search for a specific item or record

Event Type – Focus on particular types of actions (e.g., create, update, delete)
- Click the blue arrow next to an entry to view the details.
Exporting Audit Logs
Audit logs can be downloaded for further analysis or record-keeping. You can export them in the following formats:
- JSON
- CSV
