The Display Settings in Scan App let you personalize how numbers, dates, and measurement units are shown throughout the app. This makes sure the app adapts to your local standards and preferences, reducing errors and improving readability.

 

Configurable options

Go to Profile > Preferences > Display Settings in Scan App to configure the display settings.

1. Decimal Separator

Decide whether to use:

  • Comma ( , )
  • Dot ( . )

All numbers across the app will automatically adapt to your choice.

 

2. Date Format

Choose the format that matches your region or workflow. Examples include:

  • yyyy-mm-dd
  • dd-mm-yyyy
  • mm-dd-yyyy

 

3. Unit System

Pick between Metric and US Imperial systems. The available units will update automatically:

Weight

  • Metric: grams (g), kilograms (kg)
  • Imperial: pounds (lb), ounces (oz)

Length

  • Metric: centimeters (cm), meters (m)
  • Imperial: inches (in), feet (ft)

Volume

  • Metric: cubic decimeters (dm³), cubic meters (m³)
  • Imperial: cubic inches (in³), cubic feet (ft³)

 

How it works in the app

  • Switching the Unit System resets measurements to the default units for that system.
     
  • Inputs automatically validate and convert into base units in the background (e.g., grams, millimeters, cubic millimeters).
     

  • Your chosen settings apply throughout the app, including:

    - Shipment details
    - Vehicle capacity input
    - Scan history and reports
