Device Requirement
Scan App requires a minimum operating system version to work:
- Android: 7.0 (Nougat) or newer
- iOS: 13.4 or newer
To check your Android version: go to Settings → About phone → Android version.
To check your iOS (iPhone and iPad) version: go to Settings → General → About → iOS Version.
If your device is running an older version and the manufacturer no longer provides updates, it will not be compatible with Scan App. This is common with dedicated hardware scanners (like barcode scanning devices) that do not receive OS updates from the manufacturer.
