The solution centralizes emissions data from multiple carriers in a single portal, eliminating the need to access separate systems or compile reports from different sources.

Calculation methodology

Our emissions calculations use a credible, standardized approach:

• Based on predefined emission factors developed by NTM

• Incorporates gross weight and distance for each shipment

• Conforms to required standards for emissions reporting

• Incorporates regional differences in fuel composition and regulatory requirements, drawing upon the comprehensive data in the Handbook for Emission Factors to ensure accurate emissions reporting for each geographic area

While carrier data can provide valuable information, most carriers calculate carbon footprints retrospectively and often lack shipment-specific details on load factors and routing. Emissions Tracker addresses this limitation while also being capable of incorporating carrier emissions data when available via API, giving you the most complete picture possible.

In the most common implementation scenario, customers aren't required to commit any additional resources or technical work - we handle the entire setup process for you. Pricing is volume-based according to annual shipment numbers (contact sales for specific pricing information).
