Categories make it possible to display more relevant reasons in your Return flow. If you are selling many different types of goods, not all reasons will be applicable, for instance, "too small" would be relevant for clothing but not for a book. If the items in your webshop have specific categories such as electronics, clothing, etc. you can add matching categories to reasons and only
Adding categories to reasons
Categories can be added when you configure the Return flow. For a more detailed tutorial, please see Setting up the Returns Widget
- Go to Widget Settings > Reasons & Conditions.
- Expand the Reasons section and click on an existing reason to edit it or add a new one.
- Enter one or more categories in the Product Categories field and press Enter.
A reason will only be shown for products in the selected categories. All reasons belong to the default category unless you remove it. As long as a reason belongs to the default category, it will be shown on all products. If a reason has no categories, it will not be displayed anywhere.
