To integrate with a Checkout configuration using the Checkout API, you will need a connection ID. A connection ID is automatically created for each new Checkout configuration. You can easily update a connection and link it to any configuration, allowing you to update your integration without making any code changes.
Create a new connection
- Log into nShift Portal and go to Checkout.
- Go to Connections in the top menu. You will now see a page with your current connections.
- Click Create new connection.
- Select a Member account from the drop-down list and name the connection.
- Select a checkout Configuration from the drop-down list.
- Click Save. A new connection ID has now been created.
Edit an existing connection
You can update an existing connection so it points to another configuration. This is useful if you have a running integration using the connection ID but want to change it to a different configuration.
- Go to Connections in the top menu.
- Click the three-dots menu next to the connection you want to update and choose Edit.
- Update any of the information in the connection, e.g. the Configuration, and click Save.
