To access the new connection to PostNord's booking API, here is a guide outlining the changes and actions that must be taken in nShift TMS (including nShift Web-TA).

Introduction

A number of new transport services have been set up in nShift TMS for PostNord Sweden. The reason for this is to connect to PostNord's new booking API which is more solid and offers a wider range of services compared to the old connection. To use the new connection, you need to make some changes based on your usage of nShift TMS.

nShift will activate the new services on your account to match your currently active PostNord services. The new services are organized into three main categories:

• PostNord Parcel SE API
• PostNord Groupage SE API
• PostNord Letters SE API

Starting in May 2024, the old PostNord products in nShift TMS will no longer be supported. No new services or updates will be added to these connections, and we cannot guarantee the availability of the old connection. The older products will be phased out completely in the near future.

Creating new transport agreements

Once the new PostNord transport product has been activated on your domain, you must create new Transport Agreements for it. You may use the same customer numbers as before. Check your current agreements and customer numbers and create new ones based on the old agreements.
If your customer number has been issued by PostNord Sweden, you should make sure "Z12 - Sweden" is set under the "Issuer Code" option.

Consignment Templates

Update your current Consignment Templates or create new ones, with the new transport services. A new template can be created based on an existing template by copying a current template.

1. Under Consignment templates, find your current template. You can use the search field.
    
2. Check the existing template and click Copy.
   
   
    
3. Click Confirm.
    
4. Click the Edit button next to the new template.
    
5. Scroll down and change the transport service to PostNord Letters SE API/PostNord Parcel SE API/ PostNord Groupage SE API.
   
   
    
6. Click Save.

Customers booking through integration

If you have an integration with nShift and are using the specific product codes in your input data, you need to update your integration to refer to the new transport products (see below for the updated codes). However, if you're using a template reference, in most cases, simply changing the transport product in the template will suffice, and you won't need to update your integration.
