You can use Categories to control which delivery options appear in your checkout. Group your delivery options into categories like "Home Delivery", "Evening Delivery" and "Express," and assign your delivery options to one of the categories. You also decide how many delivery options to show for each category. This is useful when you have many delivery choices but only want to show certain ones to specific groups of customers.
Add a category
- Go to Categories in the menu on the left side of the Checkout configuration page and click Add category.
- Fill in Name and Title. The name you give the category, e.g. "Home Delivery", is for internal use only while the title is displayed in the Checkout.
- In the Maximum number of delivery options, enter how many delivery options to show in this category, for example, "2".
- Click OK.
- Repeat the steps to add more categories.
Add Delivery option to a category
Once you have created one or more categories, you can start adding Delivery options to the categories. This is done on each Delivery option:
- Go to Delivery options in the sidebar menu and click on a Delivery option (or add a new one).
- Expand the Category section and choose a category from the drop-down list. In the example below, we have added "PostNord MyPack Home" to a category named "Home Delivery".
- Click Save.
