This is a preliminary release note to inform you that a new version of nShift On-premises (version 18.159) supporting .NET 8 will be released on April 24, 2024.

Microsoft has announced the end of support for .NET 6 later this year (read more). To optimize the performance of nShift On-premises, .NET8 will automatically be installed when you update to version 18.159.
