Introduction

Some carriers offer pickup of your parcels/goods.

You can book a pickup for a shipment in several ways:

• Book while creating the shipment - Valuable if you create one single shipment that you want the carrier to pick up
   
• Book directly after printing - This is convenient if you just realized you want the parcel to be picked up
   
• Book separately - This is useful if you want to book pickup for several shipments, with the same or different carriers, after creating all shipments

All methods may not be available for all services. For example, for some services, typically freight services, pickup booking is preselected. For those services, it is not possible to book pickup afterward.

Pickup booking is available for standard printing, printing favorites, and stored printings.

How to book a pickup

Book pickup while creating the shipment

1. Go to Shipments > Standard printing, or Printing favorites, click the Use icon next to the printing favorite you want to use, and begin creating the shipment.
   
   
   
   Create shortcuts to your printing favorites for easy access from the shortcut menu to the left or the Shipments menu.
    
2. On the page Print - Shipment and addons, section Pickup, check the Book pickup box.
    
3. Enter the relevant information. The information requested may differ between carriers.
   
   
    
4. Complete the remaining steps.
    
5. Click Print or Print PDF to print immediately, or Store for later printing.

Book pickup directly after printing

1. After printing, click I have printed all documents and want to leave the page.
    
2. Click Book.
    
3. Enter the relevant information. The information requested may differ between carriers.
   
   
    
4. Click Book.

Book pickup for several shipments

1. Go to Shipments > Pickup booking.
   
   
    
2. Use the search function to find the shipments you want to include in the booking. You can exclude any shipment from your booking by unchecking the box next to the shipment in the search result.
   
   
    
3. Click Book. You can book pickup with different carriers, but you have to go through an information page for each carrier.
    
4. Enter the relevant information for the first carrier.
   
   
    
5. Click Next. Click Skip if you do not want to book pickup with that particular carrier.
    
6. Enter the relevant information for the next carrier and keep clicking Next after each carrier until you reach the last one.
    
7. Click Book.
   
   

Book pickup for a stored shipment

1. Go to Shipments > Stored shipments.
    
2. If necessary, use the search function to find the shipment.
    
3. Click the edit icon next to the shipment row.
    
4. Go to the page Print - Shipment and addons, section Pickup and check the Book pickup box.
    
5. Enter the relevant information. The information requested may differ between carriers.
   
   
    
6. Click Print or Print PDF.

Book pickup for several stored shipments

1. Go to Shipments > Stored shipments.
    
2. Use the search function to find the shipments you want to include in the booking.
    
3. Click Print all or Print all PDF.
    
4. Click Continue.
    
5. After printing, click I have printed all documents and want to leave the page.
    
6. Click Book.
