This article will help you understand your subscription invoice from nShift (former Consignor, Transsmart, and Unifaun). Below you will find an example of an invoice and a description of what the specific invoice lines cover.
NB! The invoice shown is only to be seen as an example. The product name, lines, period, and values on your invoice depend on the specific subscription agreement you have with nShift.
1. nShift - Platform Fee
To obtain access to the nShift Platform, you need a base subscription. nShift has different subscription plans including different products. Your plan is specified on your invoice, along with the parcel volume included for the year.
2. nShift - Carrier Fee
In addition to your base subscription, several add-ons are available. Each add-on you have ordered is specified on the invoice. The carrier fee is the fee for the carriers you are using on the nShift platform.
3. nShift - Data Storage
Storage of data created in the current and preceding year is free of charge. The data can be accessed through Portal. For the next 5 preceding years, there is a charge per year.
Read more about Data Storage in Portal here. Read more about Data Storage in Portal here.
4. nShift - Add-on Fee
In addition to your base subscription, several add-ons are available. Each add-on you have ordered is specified on the invoice.
5. nShift - Exceeding Volume Charge
This is the extra charge for shipping a higher volume in the previous subscription term. Essentially the difference in price between the volume tiers.
6. Professional Services
All interactions between you as a customer and our Customer Service department are logged within nShift’s Customer Service system. You will be notified of the status of each service ticket until it has been closed. The charge for Professional Services will either appear on the invoice under invoice item consultancy or in separate invoice lines describing the service along with a detailed specification of each service ticket on page 2.
How do we calculate quantity?
The nShift products are offered with a tiered model as standard. That means an annual volume is set per customer based on the number of transactions in the last twelve months.
Our different tiers are listed here. The price per tier differs by customer depending on their configuration.
The tier level is set per subscription period, which is 12 months. If you expect a higher or lower volume in the coming period, please contact us and we will adjust the volume accordingly.
Please note that a reduction in volume can only be done 30 days prior to the renewal date and not during your current 12-month period.
If your actual number of transactions exceeds the estimated level, an extra charge will be billed at the time of exceeding. No credits will be issued if you ship below the tier level.
Most of our customers pay annually prior to their subscription period. However, if you are on a quarterly payment, the invoice amount will be the same for all quarters even if your number of transactions is higher in certain months.
Additional charges for exceeding the number of transactions will be added at the time of exceeding the set tier level.
