It is possible to select which Actor or Location should be opened when starting nShift On-premises. This can help to create an overview if you have an installation with many Actors and Locations. 

1. Go to the C drive on the machine where your On-premises is installed.
   
   
2. Create an empty text file and name it: ActorSelection.txt - The file must be located in the root of the C drive. If you have multiple clients, you must create a file for each client.
   
   
3. When On-premises is restarted, it will be possible to select the desired actor or location.
   
   
4. Select either an Actor or a Location and click Start with selected actors or Start with selected locations. Alternatively, you can click on Start with all to open On-premises with all actors and locations.
